I have been using reiki on my fish, I have a very large oscar that has an old eye injury. The eye had turned completely white but with reiki treatments it is starting to clear up. Both he and his tank mate love reiki, when they see my hands near the glass they race over and rub against the glass, and swim in circles near my hands, it's the most incredible thing! If I wasn't there myself I wouldn't believe that fish would act this way.

Hello
I practice reiki fairly regularly on my cat. Sometimes in regular care, sometimes very localized when injuries. This summer, he returned with a fairly large wound on the tail. I hesitated to go to the vet because it became infected. The hair had completely gone. I gave her reiki about twice a day at this place and within a week the infection was reduced. He has sometimes funny reaction. He often look up as if he saw something or someone. I found she also decides the moment she no longer wishes to receive, she rises. Sometimes she purrs strongly. I felt a warmth in the palm of my hand a lot warmer than we humans. But I think the more they get, the more it lasts. when they offer their belly, then it's a wonderful gift.

I give Reiki to our cat when she gets a bad eye (sometimes it waters) and she will sit untill she has had enough and then wander off.

My mothers dog is so happy and bouncey always that he never wanted it, untill one day when he wasnt eating his food and was very quiet ,then he sat for ages soaking it up! And he was bouncing again the next day! Very Happy

Reiki & Animals

When I am practising Reiki my dogs love to come and sit next to me in the same room. Within minutes they change from excitable and boisterous to calm and gentle. Can be quite useful when we have visitors due!

Reiki healing by doggie request!

Post by Skyward on Mon Apr 08, 2013 12:25 am

Hello all,

much light to you. I want to share one of my doggie healing stories: that a Reiki Master made a difficult 3 hour drive to me with his German Shepherd who had a wonky hind quarter. He didn't know it, but the dog requested the healing and was very happy to flop next to me on the sofa and roll over to have it done. His excited keeper shrieked with delight on switching out the lights for bedtime that evening...and reported that the doggie had a BLUE GLOW-IN-THE-DARK BEHIND! I was tickled ... Reiki heals all, please don't doubt, and when you see an animal in distress, or seems to be uncomfortable, left lonely and tied up outside a shop, or shivvering in the cold...just put out your hand and send some love...we don't need owners permission to do that. Imagine all of us walking around with all this potential to do this, and more, and many of our four legged, and two legged friends are ignored...hhmmmmnn. Yes, and remember the birds, and to heal the worms we chop in half when gardening, and don't let them drown in puddles, stop squashing spiders and swatting flies, the birds need to be fed too, need I go on?

Healing light and sunshine to all, we are all one, and we are all of the same Divinity whatever our form.

Reiki for Animals

Post by ReikibyLisa on Sun May 19, 2013 3:01 am

Namaste Everyone!
I was 'awakened' to Animal Reiki after two defining experiences. The first was when I had my very first Reiki treatment where I received a very clear message "Animal Reiki". In Australia, Animal Reiki was still a very new thing back when I first received this 'message', it was almost unheard of. A few years later, I experienced an epiphany with a Rainbow Lorikeet. I knew my pathway was as an Animal Reiki practitioner. I have now worked with many animal clients and it has been life-changing. I have seen profound changes in diseased animals, calm and peace come to aged animals, I have had unexpected distant communications and 'messages' from horses, and I also have to say that the pet parents have experienced healing through their furkids receiving Reiki.
One of the most amazing experiences was with a 10 year old Siberian Husky who suffers lower motor neuron disease, pancreatitis, epilepsy and throat tumour. He was given 3 weeks to live. His carer was distraught and as a 'last resort' turned to Reiki. The 'specialist' vet gave her dog 3 weeks to live. That was 12 weeks ago! After receiving weekly Reiki treatments, the beautiful Husky was taking long, long walks, swimming in the ocean and keeping his food down. Such an incredible and powerful healing took place that has given him and his person that extra time to enjoy life to the fullest. What a blessing Reiki is... and I am so grateful to be able to call myself a practitioner. Animals have taught me so much... more than I could have ever hoped for.
It is my hope that the world will awaken more fully to the beautiful healing powers of Reiki ...
With love and light,
ReikibyLisa x
