Question about Reiki and Wrist Pain

Question about Reiki and Wrist Pain

Post by breathedeeply on Sat Sep 04, 2010 2:04 pm

Hello! I injured my wrist badly last winter during an intensive yoga teacher training session and have been trying to self-heal with Reiki. (I am a Reiki II practitioner.) My question is, in order to heal the wrist do I focus the Reiki healng on my throat chakra - since it is connected to wrist issues - or do I try to heal the area of the wrist where I feel the pain by directly placing my other hand over it? Perhaps there is blocked energy there at the wrist? I would love your advice on this.

Thank you! Love and light.

Hi Maria,
Well me personally would get your Reiki power going and place your hand directly over it. This works for me!

Namaste, Maria. What do your instincts tell you? Your written words indicate you're going "by the book" to a degree. Take a breath and center yourself. Focus your mind, engage Reiki and let your hand go where it needs to. Trust yourself. There is no "right" or "should" when it comes to Reiki.

Thank you Laney and Heal Through Reiki for responding. I will go with my instinct then...which is guiding me to directly heal the area of my wrist. Love and light.
