Psychotropic Medications

Im on alot of medication for schitoaffective disorder and I have been attuned to Reiki first degree. I got attuned in 2004 and then I became a bit psychic and religious seeing Jesus around me, people thought I was being strange and put me into a mental hospital now Im on alot of meds,. My question is this; do you think that the a being on medication that alters your mind can affect reiki treatment as I have been traeting myself and found that I feel blockages and so forth. The way I spend my life at the moment is waking up taking cymbalta, zeldox and epilim then doing my thing then taking epilim and zeldox at night. I really feel like the medication is surpressing my true self and its really depressing me. Please help

Have been attuned since 2004 but havnt really done reiki since then its been a while but I had a little breakthrough last night I was doing alot of self treatment and I had some really awesome dreams!!

Sai Ram. If it is possible, pl. discuss with your doctor / healthcare professional about discontinuing / tapering off the medications. They do effect the energy flow and even otherwise have a lot of undesirable side effects. There are other alternatives but you will need the cooperation of the health care authorities and family members / priends. I know one case where the family was almost sure that the person became 'psycho' after Reiki attunement (second degree) because he was seeing and hearing so many things. Luckily, I could help him and his family through counselling and later his Master helped by helping him ground better. He is now a very powerful healer!
