      Hi there,

      I have been working with Reiki since 2001. In the past 3 years I have altered hand positions and noted differences and outcomes with the study. I incorporated a hand position that I was taught was "off limits". I place my hands directly over the breasts (I talk to all of my clients in detail before hand and have never had anyone say they weren't alright with it). I have had positive results in my clients (actually both men and women). Wondering if ANYONE else uses a similar hand position???

      I was never told that any hand positions were "off limits". Go with what feels right, there is no "wrong" way in Reiki, unless your intentions are of ill intent (but unlikely if you are practicing healing others) . If you are having positive results then you are definitely on the right path! Butterfly
