Protect against risk with esthetician liability insurance

Post by NACAMSStaff on Mon Nov 12, 2012 7:31 am

In fact, even those businesses that do not provide clients with services that involve chemical products, sharp tools or other types of potentially dangerous items are wise to possess liability insurance. After all, any time a customer comes onto the property of the business, that customer could have an accident, so the business needs to be covered by quality liability insurance.

For example, imagine one of your clients is running late for her facial appointment. In a rush to come through the door, she could trip and suffer an injury, such as a broken wrist or chipped tooth. This client might decide to sue you for the damages, because the accident took place on the property of your business.

For these kinds of legal claims, business owners look to the protection provided by general liability insurance. Basically, the general liability portion of your esthetician insurance is designed to cover slips, trips, falls and other types of accidents that might take place on your property.
