Reiki and epilepsy Empty Reiki and epilepsy

Post by moonstone Wed Dec 02, 2009 10:04 am

    Question
could you please send me your thoughts on giving Reiki to someone with epilepsy. I believe that it is fine to give reiki just as long as you are aware of what to do in the event of your client having a seizure.

Please could you let me have your thoughts and comments

    Thanks

    Hi Moonstone,

    Welcome to the Reiki Forum.

Well, some say that Reiki & Epilepsy has both positive and negative experiences after Reiki sessions. Reiki can be positive, or it can amplify the energy in the body, and bring on a seizure to some patients.

But usually it has positive effects. here's some answers that people give to that question:

    Answers:

Hi, I have treat a few people who have epilepsy with no problems from the energy healing point of view :-)

    Answers:

Hi I have Epilepsy but haven't had a fit for a few years Reiki is good and helps some people like myself:)

So, I would advise you to follow the Reiki for Epilepsy protocol:
Treat the brow chakra (Ajna), heart chakra, liver, pancreas, stomach, intestines, kidneys and spine.

and see the reaction of the person, don't do a too long session at first. Each person is different, so be cautious.

    Hope it helps

    Love & Light
