Yoga liability insurance exists for a reason

There is a common and incorrect assumption that only those professionals who provide some form of invasive or inherently dangerous service—usually medical doctors, and especially surgeons—are the only folks who need to worry about having a liability insurance policy in place.

While it is true that such individuals may be more likely to use their liability insurance than others, it does not mean that all those professionals who seem to provide far less risky services do not need liability insurance as well. This certainly goes for yoga teachers, who should be sure to possess a high quality yoga liability insurance policy before opening the doors to their dance studio or classroom.

In general, the main difference between a liability insurance policy for a professional such as a surgeon and yoga instructor liability insurance is the fact that the former is going to be much more costly than the latter, simply because the odds are greater that a surgeon might be sued for damage or injury, and the odds are lower that a yoga teacher might be sued for damage or injury.
