Hi, I just wanted to share my experience and hope someone can give me a little more information??
My reki master told me that because I have already read into what reki does I was going into the session with an expectation that may not be fulfilled. So when I reached the session I wasn’t expecting to feel anything but heat. At the start of the session all I could feel was heat. To my surprise as we got further into the treatment I was extremely relaxed, which isn’t common for me. I’m very fidgety and can hardly sit still, but I found myself hardly moving and concentrating. Soon into the experience, I could feel him working on the right side of my head, close to my ears. On the right side of my head was were I felt the most happening. I felt, what I would imagine, an electric current from his hand to my ear, and everywhere his hand moved the current moved with him. As the treatment went further, he laid a hand on the bridge of my neck and I instantly felt the heat. Then suddenly I felt pain in my right shoulder. I have always had back issues with my shoulder blade getting locked into rib cage and this is where I felt the pain. As soon as he lifted his hand away it was gone. Later in the session he placed, what I believed, both hands on my head. This was the part I felt and saw the most. I had the strangest feeling, kind of feeling you get when you feel light headed. As my eyes were closed at this time, and there was a small light in the corner of the room and the colour I could see with my eyes closed was orange, when his hands were on the top of my head my vision colour changed to black, then slowly, like a ball form, going from large to small and then disappearing. This happened about three times and then it stopped and I went back to seeing the orange light.
In the last legs of the treatment he put his hands on either side of my shoulders and I could feel the heat in each shoulder, then slight pain. But what was interesting, where his hand was on the left shoulder I could hear a ‘woofing’ sound. Not a dogs bark but kinda like a heart beat, but not a boom boom, but a woof woof woof woof. When he lifted his hands away it was gone.
Once the treatment stopped I spoke about the experience with my reki master. His main points of the session were that he felt an extreme connection, one that his never felt before. He said he could feel my aura, but it was tight and he referred to it as feeling like a sponge. He also said that when he had his hands on my head an image came in his mind of a flower, but the flower seemed to be closed struggling to open. He referred to the flower as the bud and it being closed. He also said that he didn’t feel much around my right ear, which I found surprising because that’s where I felt it the most. He said he felt an extreme changing pattern next to my left ear. He said in some spots it was almost ice cold. But she couldn’t feel disease, he said it felt more like someone’s been trying to tell me something but I keep ignoring it and I may need to let go. He also said he saw a red and white checkered pattern which reminded him of the 60’s. I had not relevance to any or these things.
Another interesting fact was that he felt dizzy when he was touching my head and had to keep his balance.
It’s now a few days later and I have been feeling anxious and been having a little more anxiety. I have been sleeping much better though.
I want a bit more of an understanding if anyone can help interpret my experience further?
