Do you turn the person on the stomach during a complete care?

Post by Reiki Forum Admin on Mon Mar 15, 2010 2:03 pm

Do you turn the person on the stomach during a complete care?
More and more practitioners say they prefer spending more time on the front of the person and not turning the person on the stomach, so that the person can stay in deep relaxation.

What do you do ?

Namaste to all.

If you are only doing Reiki for relaxation( contemporary hand placements) I doubt you would need to turn them over. If they fall asleep I don't. If its for therapeutic Reiki, for disease-emo- lifting core beliefs- treatment (original hand placements) they aren't going to relax enough to feel put out to be turned over anyway. Both sides should be done in the cases of therapeutic because most of the emotional crud that needs to be lifted is along the back, on the kidneys, liver, back of the heart, and stomach.
